Please do not use this as a comprehensive list! If you want a complete, comprehensive list of all active webrings/directories, please use brisray.com's Webring List and Indie Web Directories, respectively. Those lists are also updated frequently and give more details than this one.
This is my attempt to catalogue as many webrings and web directories as I can. There are other lists out there, but most of them were non-comprehensive, out of date, etc. I hope this page can be a helpful resource for finding cool sites and communities!
This page currently lists 254 different directories!
Clarification and Disclaimers

All of the directories listed here focus on small, personal, and/or independent sites/blogs. No corporate sites, no site builders (squarespace, carrd, etc), and no social media accounts.

I've excluded directories that are centered around bigotry, illegal content, blatant misinformation, etc. I've also decided not to link to directories focused on explicit content since my site is SFW. If any of the sites mentioned fall under that and it just went over my head, please let me know so I can remove them.

That being said, I do not like or agree with every directory linked here. This page is supposed to be a comprehensive list, not a list of my favorites.

Keep in mind that some of these directories are more actively maintained than others. Maintaining a directory may include stuff like accepting new members, removing dead/broken sites, fixing technical problems, and enforcing any rules they have set up.
