"Recession Indicators"

Everything's supposedly a "recession indicator" nowadays. "recession indicator" this, "recession indicator" that, it's usually over pretty frivolous stuff too. I always take the phrase with a grain of salt.

But the other day I got one of those "cash for gold" type ads before a YouTube video. I haven't even one of those since Obama was in office! A true, actual, genuine recession indicator if I've ever seen one. We are so cooked!
